Never went rafting with this team but I stopped by few times to enjoy the views. You can book one of those Tepee sites if you want to feel a bit of the First Nations lifestyle for few days. They also have a tennis court and picnic tables and a campground. There are lots of trails to explore. They are conveniently located next to the Hwy1I paid attention to the crew and they appeared very well organized and polite. The Fraser River is fast and deep and has many rapids and large vortexes. I don't know where they take their customers, but I would not allow kids on any type of raft on those waters, regardless the safety systems and crew training. I am positive that they know what they are doing and what is their customers age limit after so many years in business.
A little oasis in the middle of nowhere! Great facility. Nice pool and hot tub, poolside bar. We were treated to live music Saturday night and it was fantastic. Surprisingly busy and bigger than expected. Sand volleyball courts, giant chess, nice little restaurant. Coffee shop was a fun treat in the morning. The trains roll by at night but we weren't too bothered by them as they are down an embankment that acts as a bit of a buffer. Definitely a place I will go back and visit again
Spent 2 nights and 3 days at Kumsheen Rafting Resort on a school trip. Best retreat experience of my life. Facilities were clean, scenery and landscapes were beautiful and right outside our window. Food was satisfactory, but sufficient. The rafting experience was phenomenal, and the tents were filled with character and history. 10/10 would revisit with family.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff and guides. Great camping facilities too if you are up to making a weekend of fun! Try to stay Saturday nights in the summer. In addition to great rafting, they have music and an awesome poolside bar. Community campfires are a great way to get to know your neighbors (even with a fire ban on we still hung out there!) and I will be back next August to do the Hells Gate run. I missed it this year but I'll be ready next summer!
Went for a school trip here as a teacher chaperone. They have a beautiful location, overlooking the Thompson river. Great facilities and an excellent service. Worth going for sure. It was an excellent time at an excellent facility. Lots to do and see and love.
