Quiet - serene - well cared for - can be very hot - frequent guests of wind, caution for camper awnings - friendly camp operator.
Really nice views and great washroom facilities on the side by the canyon. An excellent place to stretch your legs and take in some nice scenery. Great for dogs as well!
Love to visit this place as many times I visited my cousin in 100 miles house.we always stop there do sum bbq n spend more than two -three hours there.
Very convenient, and gorgeous. The higher up the mountain, the less highway and train noise there is. It's $23 per night in 2018, and the park is maintained at a very high level. Great hiking, and nearby Lytton is interesting to explore.
Steep mountain side camping where you don't think a campground could exist. Nice caretaker! Flowers and lights along path at flush toilet. Neat views. And No Mosquitoes!! You can hear trains most of evening but droning background noise so not disturbing. It was hot even in May not sure if that is normal but was when we were there. We would come again.
